Hoz Digital Lock is an authorised reseller of premium digital locks, doors, gates, and surface wraps in Singapore. We partner with leading manufacturers to bring you quality products with professional installation.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.


Products & Pricing

We endeavour to provide accurate product information. Please note:

  • Product images are illustrative and may vary slightly from actual products
  • Technical specifications are manufacturer-provided and subject to change
  • Prices may be updated without prior notice
  • All prices are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and include GST unless stated otherwise

Orders & Payment

When placing an order:

  • Ensure all information provided is accurate and complete
  • Payment is required in full before order processing
  • Order confirmation acknowledges receipt, not product availability
  • We reserve the right to decline orders at our discretion

Warranties

Products carry manufacturer warranties. HOZ facilitates warranty claims but is not the warranty provider. Claims are processed through the manufacturer or their authorised service centres.

Warranty Exclusions

  • Physical damage or misuse
  • Water damage
  • Unauthorised modifications or repairs
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from improper installation (if not by authorised installer)

Installation Services

Most digital locks include professional installation by manufacturer-authorised installers.

Installation Terms

  • Installation is performed by qualified third-party technicians
  • Scheduling is subject to installer availability
  • Site assessment may be required before confirmation
  • Additional charges may apply for non-standard installations

Scheduling

  • We contact you within 1 business day to arrange installation
  • Specific time slots available upon request (subject to availability)
  • Rescheduling requires minimum 24 hours notice
  • Custom products (gates, doors, wraps) require site measurement before fabrication

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure clear access to the installation area
  • Obtain required approvals (HDB, condo management)
  • Be present or have an authorised representative available
  • Inform us of non-standard door/gate conditions before purchase

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law:

  • HOZ is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the relevant product
  • We are not liable for delays beyond our reasonable control

Exceptions: Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Any liability that cannot be excluded under Singapore law

Your Statutory Rights

These Terms do not affect your rights under Singapore law, including:

  • Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act
  • Sale of Goods Act
  • Unfair Contract Terms Act

If a product is defective, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you retain all statutory remedies.


Intellectual Property

All website content — text, images, logos, and designs — is protected by intellectual property rights. Reproduction or distribution without written permission is prohibited.

Product names, logos, and brands are property of their respective owners.


Privacy

Your use of our website is governed by our Privacy Policy, which details how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with Singapore's PDPA.


Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern:

  2. We aim to resolve matters within 14 business days
  3. If unresolved, you may file a complaint with the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE)
  4. Legal proceedings may be commenced in Singapore courts

We may update these Terms periodically. Changes are posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
